Please give 48hrs notice if wish to cancel your automatic driving lesson with Steve. Unfortunately I would have to charge you for the full 2 hour lesson for short notice cancellation.
When you are driving independently without any prompting needed, you will then have Mock Driving Tests with me within your normal 2hr lesson. This will show how you perform under test situations for 40 mins with no help, just like your real driving test.

A deposit of £300 is needed to secure all the lesson times for your course*. Above courses can be between 3 - 6 weeks, or longer to suit you! * All block booking pre paid lessons based on doing 2 hours of lessons a week. Intensive lessons based on 4 or more hours of lessons a week. Only on exception through Steve can 4 hours of llessons be taken at pre paid block booking rate!
* Please give at least 48 hours notice to cancel your driving lesson and no charge! Less than 48 hours notice to cancel a lesson and unfortunately I have to charge you the full 2 hour lesson cost!
* Lessons cancelled at short notice, ie less than 48hrs notice given to cancel will still be charged. This applies to Mon-Fri lesson times between 8am to 5pm.
* Any pre paid lessons not used no refund can be given. On special request and agreed by Steve, any remaining pre paid lessons may be given to a nominated person and used within 4 weeks of date of agreement by Steve.
* Evening and Weekend lessons can be cancelled with no charge if 3 working days notice given. If not will be charged for that lesson time. Evening lesson times Mon-Fri 5pm to 9pm Weekends Saturday & Sunday between 8am to 5pm.
*Semi Intensive Driving Courses: Each lesson can be a 2 hour driving lesson or more. Max hours in any week Monday to Friday is 12 hours ie: = 6 x 2 hour lesson. When showing independent driving skills, you will be given Mock Practical Driving Tests within your 2 hour lesson. This will show how you will perform in a real test situation. Test dates will be agreed by Steve Kenny your instructor, any test date already booked and not agreed with Steve at SMS Driving School will need to be changed. Deposit needed on booking the agreed course is £300, balance to be paid 21 days before start of your Course. Length of course needed will be agreed at the end of an Assessment lesson or at time of booking. Cancellation of course 6 weeks before loss of 50% of deposit. 3 weeks before loss of 100% of deposit, 2 weeks before Course 50% loss of total course fee, 1 week before Course 75% loss of course fee, less than 1 week cancelled before Course is 100% loss of course fee .
* When block booking with prepaid lessons, the max in any one week is 3 hours of lessons. 4 hours lessons or more per week is classed as semi or intensive course. Please refer to Semi Intensive Course prices.
* Money prepaid for lessons is non refundable. At the disgrettion of Steve this can be used against payment for pass plus, or passed to a direct family member for lessons.
* Offers cannot be used twice or added to another offer.
* Gift Vouchers will be sent to you with the persons name who the driving lessons are for printed on the gift certificate.
* Student block booking - College or University card required.
* Normal rate or Student rate applies after offer/ introductory rate.
